Puppy Manners - $375.00 plus GST - unlimited classes until 6 months of age - includes free Daycare on training days when you are attending class that evening, as well as enrolment in Pet Dog Manners.
Start your puppy off on the right paw with Puppy Manners, our popular and fun puppy class suitable for puppies ten weeks of age and older. Puppy Manners will give you and your puppy the tools required to not just survive, but embrace puppy-hood! We'll talk about things like housebreaking, crate training, jumping up, destructive behaviours, and anything else you have questions about. We'll work on basic skills such as bite-inhibition, self control, how to "go to your mat" when the doorbell rings, and many more that will start you and your puppy on the path of life-long learning. With heavy emphasis on early and ongoing socialization, your puppy will be well on his way to developing the skills he needs to be a welcome companion anywhere you go. Upon completion of Puppy Manners, puppies are automatically enrolled in an eight week Pet Dog Manners class (puppies are not eligible for Flex Passes until they have completed a consecutive eight week program).
As positive reinforcement is used in all our classes, please bring an ample supply of very small, soft smelly treats, and ensure your puppy is on a flat or martingale collar or harness.
Puppy Manners runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45 - 7:30pm, with 15 minutes of free play from 7:30-7:45pm. You may begin any Tuesday or Thursday - there is no need to wait! Pre-registration is not required for this class.
Please not that during the month of August Puppy Manners will run on Thursdays only.
Enrolment in Puppy Manners includes free daycare on training days, provided you are attending class that evening.
Pet Dog Manners - $200.00 / $150.00 plus GST - FREE for those enrolled in Puppy Manners, includes free daycare on training days when you are attending class that evening
Pet Dog Manners is a basic obedience class that is designed to give your companion dog the skills that will help him become a well-mannered dog who is a pleasure to be around. Skills taught will include sit, down, come when called, attention work, loose-leash walking, stand and stays. This class is appropriate for all dogs 20 weeks of age and older.
This class is offered in two formats - you may register for consecutive eight week program, attending the same time each week for eight weeks (this format is recommended and will likely bring you the best results), OR you may purchase a "Flex Pass" for eight classes and come to scheduled classes whenever you wish. Once you have completed eight Pet Dog Manners classes, either consecutively or with a Flex Pass, you may purchase an additional eight classes at a discounted rate of $150.00 plus GST.
Why Purchase a Flex Pass?
Flex Passes are an excellent option for people who travel frequently, work shift work, or otherwise find it difficult to commit to eight consecutive weeks of training. This gives you the flexibility to drop in whenever a class is in progress, which can alleviate schedule difficulties. It also provides the benefit of being able to drop in to work on specific issues; for example, if your dog has a rock solid sit-stay but pulls on leash, it allows you to drop into classes where the bulk of the lesson may be spent on loose leash walking, thereby allowing you to opt out of lessons you feel you may not benefit from.
How Flex Passes Work:
- First time customers may pre-purchase eight classes at our regular price of $200 plus GST. Returning customers who have taken Pet Dog Manners before may pre-purchase eight classes at a discounted rate of $150 plus GST.
- Flex Passes expire 12 months from the date of purchase and are NON-REFUNDABLE once you attend your first class. There are no exceptions to these rules. You will see the best results if you attend frequently and ideally, on consecutive weeks with your dog.
- Once you have purchased a Flex Pass, you will receive an email once per month advising you of classes being held that month and what the general focus of those classes are. Please note that the subject matter may change based on the needs of the students enrolled in the class and we therefore cannot guarantee subject content with 100% accuracy.
- Occasionally we may need to limit the number of Flex Pass holders who may attend a class. When this happens, you will be notified via email that you must confirm your spot in a class ahead of time, or call the day of to verify space is available.
- If you are purchasing a Flex Pass, you must notify us at the time of registration.

Play n' Train - $675.00 plus GST per eight sessions
Many of us find ourselves overwhelmed with the demands of a new puppy or older dog and often aren't sure where to start or what to do. Time is precious for all of us and those who travel frequently, work shift work, or are trying to juggle children's schedules will find Play n' Train to be THE solution for them! Play n' Train is a unique program that puts the most difficult and time consuming elements of training in the hands of a professional, and takes the stress off of you. Come home to a tired dog who is learning as he's playing. What could be better?
How Play n' Train works:
- Play n' Train must be purchased in packages of eight. This ensures enough time is spent with your dog to build and cement the appropriate skills. Purchasing less than eight will only leave you frustrated, as we will not have had sufficient time to adequately proof your dog's new behaviours. Additionally, it is important to note that Play n' Train will provide your dog with solid basic behaviours and relieve you of the most difficult and time-consuming tasks associated with training. However, training is truly a lifelong journey and without consistency and follow up at home, behaviours will not stick.
- Eight sessions will provide your dog with eight days of daycare (a $208 value), a minimum of eight hours of one-on-one training with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (an $880 value), written reports of your dog's successes and struggles after each session, as well as a 10-15 minutes consults after each session so you know what we've done, where we're going, and what you need to do at home to continue building on your dog's successes.
- Play n' Train is available Tuesday through Friday. In order to ensure the best success for you and your dog, Play n' Train sessions must be fully used up within 90 days of purchase.
- Dogs attending Play n' Train must meet our daycare criteria, and pre-registration is required so that your dog's Trainer can dedicate adequate time to your dog.
- If you are bringing us a new puppy, 10-18 weeks of age, we recommend purchasing two sessions. In the first we will focus on very specific and critical puppy skills such as bite inhibition, self control, socialization (socialization is more than just playing with other dogs), handling, and puppy basics such as "leave it", "take it", and "drop it". In the second session, and for older dogs, we focus on sit, down, stay, come and walking nicely on a leash.
- We reserve the right to refuse any dog to this program, should we feel the dog is best suited to an alternate training protocol.
Remember to send us an email if you'd like to be notified of specialized programs, classes, and discounts we offer from time to time to those on our mailing list.
