At Pet Planet Grooming Salons, your pet is our pampered guest. He or she can select from a variety of services - whether they need a simple bath or "the works".
Walk-in Services
Walk in services are available whenever the groomer is on duty, usually daily (except Sundays) starting at 9:00 am. Be sure to check with your local Pet Planet for exact grooming times at their location. Walk in services do not require an appointment, and can most often be done while you wait.
Facials: Is your dog having trouble seeing because of all the hair in front of his eyes? Not only is this uncomfortable for him, it can also promote eye infections and irritations. Drop by your local Pet Planet for a facial: this includes a trim around the eyes and face, ear and eye cleaning.
Pedicures: Do you have trouble cutting your dogs nails, or are you afraid of cutting a little too much and making him bleed? Nail trims are available at Pet Planet without an appointment. Most dogs actually prefer to get their nails done at the groomer - it is far less stressful to them having a confident professional holding the clippers. Remember, Most dogs need pedicures monthly as adults and weekly as puppies, to prevent painful overgrown nails.
Spa Services
Appointments are required for all day spa services. Pre-booked appointments allow us to take the time with each pet that he or she deserves, to provide a gentle, stress free spa experience. We recommend making Christmas and holiday appointments as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Bath and Tidy: Is your dog a natural coated breed (that does not require haircuts) Come on in for a bath and Tidy - it includes bath, brush out (dead undercoat removal), blow dry, cutting nails, cleaning ears and tidying up around the feet, ears and feathering. It also suitable for other types of dogs who normally get a haircut, when they to be cleaned up, but do not need any length taken of their coat. They get a bath, brush & blow-dry, nails & ears, and have their groins and footpads shaved out. They are tidied up around the face, feet, ears and tail. It is strongly recommended that dogs in "Teddy Bear" clips get a bath & tidy every 2-4 weeks between haircuts, especially if you do not have the time to brush very much between groomings. Dogs in full coat, such as Afghans or Shih-Tzu's in flowing coats which can reach the ground, need a bath and tidy anywhere from weekly to monthly, depending on the amount of coat they have and the amount of grooming you do at home. Remember - dogs who pre-book regular appointments receive our great preferred customer rates!
Haircut and Style: If your dog requires a haircut in addition to his bath and blow dry, our competent and compassionate professionals can create a style that suits his personality and your lifestyle. Every haircut and style includes a bath, blow dry, brush out, nail cutting, ear cleaning and styling - whether you like your dog "short all over", in a breed-specific pattern or anything in between, we can create the look you love!
