Groomers you can trust to love and respect your pet as much as you do.
When you leave your pet in the care of a Pet Planet Groomer, you not only get professional full-service grooming, you also get peace of mind that your best friend will be treated with patience, care and respect.
If your pet dreads trips to the groomer, if he or she shakes and 'puts on the brakes' when you enter the shop, then you need to try Pet Planet Grooming. Our groomers take the time to get to know each individual pet and develop a one on one relationship with them.
Pet Planet welcomes all pets, especially puppies new to grooming or those that have had unpleasant grooming experiences in the past. Come and let Pet Planet Groomers earn your pet's trust so that grooming will never again be a traumatic event for either of you.
Our full service grooming always offers "the works"; nail trimming, ear cleaning (& plucking if necessary), bathing, blow drying, hair styling, and/or removal of shedding coat are always included so there's no hidden charges! Tooth brushing and gland expression are also available upon request. Let our first-class grooming team pamper your pet with a day at the spa!

Don't forget your pet's appointment!

Pre-booked appointments allow us to take the time with each pet that he or she deserves, to provide a quality haircut and a gentle, stress free grooming experience. Because of this appointments are sometimes booked up several weeks in advance for Pet Planet Groomers, especially around holidays and special occasions. We recommend making Christmas appointments as early as October to avoid disappointment.
Grooming Facts
It may take longer to groom your pet than you expect. This is because all pets are groomed in "stages" and given plenty of breaks to ensure their grooming experience is not stressful.
By joining Pet Planet's free Nail Clip Club, every 6th nail trim for your pet is on us!
You can book your pet's grooming appointments up to one year in advance - we'll give you a courtesy call and remind you of the appointment the night before.
Great discounts are offered to pets that book ahead and are groomed monthly (or more often)!
Puppies should have their nails trimmed every 10 days, then monthly as adult dogs. Cat's nails need to be trimmed every 4-8 weeks.
Your puppy's first grooming should be at 8-12 weeks of age. When introduced to gentle grooming early, it does not become a traumatic event for them.
Don't use human shampoo on your pet - it is not PH balanced for them and will cause dry, itchy skin. Quality pet shampoo can be used as often as you like to keep your pet fresh and clean.
Rabbits, Guinea pigs and Birds all need their nails trimmed regularly
