You may be wondering what to expect as you consider opening your own Pet Planet Franchise. The steps below outline the typical stages for the first part of this process, from initial contact to putting down the deposit on your own Pet Planet Franchise.

		In response to your first contact with Pet Planet, you will receive an Initial Interest Survey and a copy of our franchise marketing information which will give you an overview of Pet Planet Franchising. Usually this information is provided by email, however we can also mail packages or deliver them for pickup at one of our existing locations.
		By returning your Initial Interest Survey, you give us a little more information about yourself and what you are looking for in a franchise. When we receive it, we will contact you by phone to set up an introductory meeting to get to know each other. We will also be able to answer any preliminary questions you may have at this point.
		The introductory meeting is generally quite casual, where you can meet the Pet Planet Team and we can meet you. Please bring any questions you may have after reading the marketing material. You can also expect us to ask you some questions that would help us determine your suitability as a potential Pet Planet Franchise owner. Assuming that both parties are still interested in moving forward, you will receive more information about Pet Planet at this meeting, and a Confidential Franchise Application and Confidentiality Agreement.
		Please take your time and fill out the Application thoroughly and completely. We are here to help with any questions you may have along the way, and we will generally give you a call within a week of our initial meeting to see how you are making out. Let us know when you have completed the Application, and fax it back to us along with your Confidentiality Agreement. Once we have received it, we will set another meeting with Pet Planet's Founders.
		At the second meeting we will be able to provide you with much more detailed information about Pet Planet, now that the Confidentiality Agreement has been signed. Some financial information and preliminary locations can be discussed at this point, as well as answers to many of your more detailed questions about the operation of a Pet Planet Franchise.
		Once you have had the opportunity to review the financial information provided and discuss this with your bank, it is time for our third meeting. This meeting concludes your initial phase, determining if a Pet Planet Franchise is right for you. Assuming that we mutually agree move forward as Franchisee and Franchisor, your deposit is due at this meeting and in return we will provide you with a Draft Franchise Agreement and our Disclosure Documents for your review. this meeting will be quite in depth as we go over the Draft Franchise Agreement and the Disclosure Documents with you, so it is important that we allow several hours to ensure all your questions are answered.
